- Remove and replace test port evaporative line and clear fault codes from computer memory after repairs.
- Hook-up diagnostic scanner test equipment to perform OBD II communications test. Retrieve trouble fault code #PO 456 indicating fault in fuel evaporative system. Perform live data checks of systems voltages and sensor operations. Connect smoke machine and check integrity of all emission lines to check for leaks or bad connections. Diagnosed leaking evaporative line near test port.
- Rotate tires from front to rear
- Computer balance tire
- Remove tire from vehicle and find source of leak. Dismount tire, patch from inside, and install on vehicle. Set all tire pressures to proper specifications.
