- Hook-up diagnostic scanner test equipment to perform OBD II communications test. Retrieve trouble fault codes #PO010, #PO013, and #PO14-B indicating fault in valve timing circuit. Perform live data checks of systems voltages and sensor operations. Recommend replacement of camshaft intake and exhaust solenoid sensors and quote estimate of repairs to customer.
- Remove air inlet duct work and perform throttle body service of air intake manifold runners, throttle body assembly, and carbon deposits on valves.
